DOC: my claim for air-gun injection as the causal connection
was submitted in Feb., 2002, and is still pending. At least the letters I keep
receiving from S.L.Hill, Veterans Service Center Manager, 20 Washington Place,
Newark, NJ 07102, (1-800-829-4833) state so. "We are still processing your
claim......pardon the delay....". For others that may wish to pursue this
as the causal point, tell them to open their basic training graduation books,
and look thru the pages. In almost every instance, during the mid-60's, a photo
was taken and placed in the book showing the use of the air-guns as we line up
and received the innoculations. I went thru Ft. Dix, in 1967, and there are 2
full pages of pictures in my book showing us lined up, some with arms bleeding,
and numerous air-gun injectors being used by medics who were NOT accustomed to
them, therefore they didn't even clean-off the tips or alcohol swab our arms prior
to hitting each of us with the gun tips, injecting not only the meds, but pieces
of flesh and blood from those just inoculated prior to us.Nothing like having
someone else's flesh "blown" into your arm by army power, eh? Sickness
by osmosis. But just about every trooper got a graduation book with photos and
if they can't find them, have them write for orders of their graduating class,
and they can contact some of their basic buddies asking them to run those pages
thru the copier, along with their names as having been part of that period of
graduating class. It'll suffice.AND it's viable physical evidence that the army
cannot refute. It's right there in black and white. Dan Nate, 75th Ranger Regiment
Advocate.

The first claim for Airgun Injectors has been won, and the door is open!
My dear brothers and sisters, it is with pleasure we report to you, almost ten months to the date since we opened hcvets.com, Our first ever, service connection for jet gun injections.
The Vietnam Veterans of America just received the paperwork establishing the first claim for Hepatitis C due to "AIRGUN" injectors....we won!
The veteran reported no substance abuse history, and his entry exam showed no tattoos along with his discharge exam showing two tattoos. Plus they cited the airgun, with the study from England.. Jet Injectors Capable of Transmitting Blood-Borne Pathogens
The Vet was rated 100% service connected for HCV cirrhosis and Hepatitis C..
The Vietnam Veterans of America will be pursing this avenue as a means to challenge the VA's Regional Offices.
Praise God for his guidance, our work is paying off.
