INTRODUCTION TO VETERAN SERVICE ORGANIZATION'S
|
The Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) on this web site are divided
into two distinct categories. Those that are Chartered and those that are Non-Chartered. Those that are Chartered, are Chartered either by Congress or
they are recognized by the Veterans Administration for claims
representation. The Non-Chartered
have not been officially Chartered by Congress but may still be used
to represent veterans claims. The choice for choosing one VSO over the
other, is up to the individual desiring the service. On this web site,
the listed Chartered and Non-Chartered are presented as a service
for your benefit and are therefore, not placed in any order of
preference or merit by this Association. It is only our intent to
present you with all the options available, in one place along with a
link connecting you to those organizations. There are 30 Chartered and 18 Non-Chartered Veteran Service Organizations
presented on this site. There are actually more than this but either
the links were non-functional or they are 'specific' veteran related
and therefore not listed here. Please take the time to view all VSO's
for what they have to offer, before making a decision in selecting a
VSO to represent you.
