UNIT DIRECTOR - Randy White     (Randy's Message)

Unit Directors Message:

I would like to welcome the men of the 101st LRRP/Rangers to the 75th Ranger Regiment Association web site. The 75th RRA acts as the parent “umbrella” association for all of the various LRRP/Ranger unit associations that fall under its eligible criteria for membership. In other words, the 101st LRRP/Ranger Association is a sub unit and a totally independent association under the guidance, but not control, of the 75th RRA. The C&BL of the 101st LRRP/Ranger Association is similar to that used by the 75th RRA, but with minor changes to reflect our status as a separate association catering to only 101st LRRP/Rangers and the modern day LRSD men. Membership in both associations is not a requirement, but is encouraged. The 101st LRA holds annual reunions, while the 75th RRA holds by-annual reunions at this point. The 75th RRA also sends its members the finest self published magazine of any military association in existence, 4 times a year. The cost of membership in the 75th RRA is worth the price of the magazine alone. The 101st LRA publishes a news letter once a year and is a major supporter of the current active 101st LRSD where ever their missions might take them. During their recent deployment to Iraq, our members contributed care packages and funds for assembling and mailing items to our active duty personnel during the length of their time overseas. It was with great joy that we learned of not a single loss during their time in the Middle East, and it was more than a little fun to party with them at the last reunion held at Ft. Campbell in June of 2004. Up dates concerning future 101st LRA reunions, assistance for contacting former members of one of the 101st units, and news on how to support the active duty LRSD can be found at our web site, or by contacting myself. There is also a ton of historical information and photos from the Vietnam era posted at our web site. I encourage any one who would like to see his photos posted at our web site to contact me for details on how to go about getting your photos scanned and posted. I also encourage someone from the LRSD era to step forward and take on the task of creating a web site and collecting historical information for the unit that proudly carries on our name today. If anyone knows of a “lost brother” who is not aware of our association, please contact me or tell him of our brotherhood. Thank you for your service and your time
